Robert’s Story

Robert had always been the kind of man who showed up—to work, to his responsibilities, to friends and family. He loved fixing things—old engines, broken tools, anything that needed patience and care. When herniated discs led to an unexpected surgery, Robert found himself in recovery, his income stopped, his bills continuing, and his independence temporarily suspended while he waited for medical clearance to return to work.

LEAVEN's assistance with Robert's December rent provided more than financial relief—it provided dignity during a vulnerable time. It meant Robert could focus on healing properly rather than rushing back to work before his body was ready, risking re-injury and long-term disability.
